Application Support & Platform Engineer (Remote - Contractor)

Core responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs and performance issues across web and mobile platforms
• Support feature enhancements and incremental improvements for AP-OD's digital ecosystem
• Handle infrastructure, DevOps, and deployment tasks to ensure platform stability and scalability
• Coordinate with the Lead Developer on defined tasks and priorities while improving documentation and workflows

This role supports AP-OD's digital platforms that empower Latino parents with leadership training and resources, enabling them to become confident advocates for their children and agents of change in their communities.

Required skills and experience:

• 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, React, PHP, Laravel, WordPress, HTML & CSS, Expo, Git, and Linux/command line usage
• Basic DevOps and server management experience
• Availability in PST or MST time zones for flexible collaboration and meetings
• Comfort working in evolving production systems with mixed codebase maturity and documentation

Compensation and engagement details:

• Part-time independent contractor position with up to 15 hours per week
• Flexible schedule based on project needs

• Potential for longer-term engagement and expanded scope based on mutual agreement
