Application Cybersecurity Lead

Core responsibilities of the Application Cybersecurity Lead:

• Implement and evolve the application security model, ensuring standards and best practices are integrated into the Software Development Lifecycle
• Lead vulnerability management, including inventorying components, discovering vulnerabilities, coordinating scanning/pen testing, and managing remediation
• Act as subject matter expert for Secure Software Development Standards, Methods and Tools, with accountability for governance, oversight, and adoption
• Coordinate with global teams to define projects, initiatives and standards, ensuring adoption across the business

This role helps create a better future by implementing cybersecurity best practices that protect critical energy infrastructure, supporting the transition to renewable energy and the journey to Net Zero emissions.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Detailed knowledge of Secure Software Development Life Cycle (S-SDLC)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity threats, attack techniques, and web application security
• Experience with threat analysis, vulnerability discovery techniques, and vulnerability lifecycle management
• Knowledge of application security architecture including segmentation, API Gateway, Encryption, WAF, and event management tools
• Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to work across multiple projects and teams
