Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise on anticipatory action, forecast-based financing and connection to shock-responsive social safety nets across PIN programmes
- Lead the development and strengthening of PIN's AA approaches in various fragile or conflict-affected contexts, including designing and implementing hazard-based AA interventions
- Support Country Programmes in designing and operationalising anticipatory action protocols, including risk prioritization and use of Early Warning Systems
- Support or lead the design of anticipatory action components in project proposals for institutional donors, climate funds, and humanitarian funding mechanisms

What makes you a great fit
Required skills and qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in designing and implementing Anticipatory action programming
- Proven technical expertise in Anticipatory action, early warning and Disaster Risk Management
- A university degree in a relevant field
- Experience in partnering with key actors and donors: ECHO, Start Fund, WMO, REAP, etc.
- Strong experience in conducting assessment and developing proposals
- Excellent spoken and written English
