Mission
What you will drive
- Lead the development and execution of strategic program priorities to advance TWS' goals in Alaska, including conservation designation campaigns, land planning, and stewardship activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers, media, and diverse stakeholders including Tribal leaders, elected officials, and industry representatives.
- Manage staff and contractors, support fundraising and donor engagement, and serve as a credible spokesperson for media.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Minimum 10 years of experience in issue advocacy, political campaigns, or advancing public policy changes at local, state, or federal level.
- Proven track record of building collaborations among diverse stakeholders and cultural competency working with Alaskan Native communities.
- Strong knowledge of public lands, environmental, and conservation issues in Alaska; experience leading and managing teams.
