AI Postdoctoral Research Fellows - Language and Intelligence

Core responsibilities:

• Design, understand, or engineer large AI models or their applications
• Work on projects involving language, images, multimodal data, science/math, code, and scientific data
• Participate in AI safety, fairness, and alignment research
• Collaborate with the core PLI team including faculty, research fellows, scientists, and graduate students

This role advances AI research with a focus on safety, fairness, and alignment, contributing to responsible AI development that can benefit society through applications in language, science, and multimodal data.

Required qualifications:

• Ph.D. degree is expected
• Strong interest and proven experience in large AI models or their applications
• Ability to participate in-person on campus at Princeton University
• Must submit curriculum vitae, research statement, cover letter, and three references
