How to Apply for AI Implementation & Adoption Lead
at Educate!
🏢 About Educate!
Educate! is Africa's largest youth employment and skills provider, uniquely focused on scalable solutions for the continent's booming youth population through school programs and boot camps. Their obsession with measurable impact, 300+ African staff team, and backing from top foundations like Imaginable Futures and Jack Dorsey's #startsmall make them a mission-driven leader in education innovation.
About This Role
As AI Implementation & Adoption Lead, you'll drive the integration of AI tools across Educate!'s youth employment programs in East Africa, directly scaling their impact on 500,000+ youth. This role involves identifying AI opportunities, piloting solutions, and training staff to leverage technology for more efficient and effective skills training.
💡 A Day in the Life
You might start your day analyzing adoption data from an AI literacy pilot in Ugandan schools, then meet with program managers in Kenya to identify pain points AI could address, followed by designing a training module for volunteer mentors on using new assessment tools. Your week could involve testing a chatbot for boot camp participants while ensuring it works with basic mobile phones common in rural areas.
