Advanced AMI/SCADA Specialist

• Provide advanced technical support for product deployments, troubleshooting issues, and assisting customers with implementation.
• Work closely with customers to ensure smooth preparation and execution of product rollouts and assist with new integrations including SCADA systems, Distributed Energy Resources (DERs), and other behind-the-meter applications.
• Collaborate with Product Development teams to support final development, proof-of-concept testing, and field trials, and participate in high-profile pilot deployments to refine and enhance product performance.
• Document support cases, solutions, and recommendations to continuously improve the product and customer experience, and work cross-functionally with Product Management, Product Development, and Customer Support teams to enhance product success and scalability.

This role directly impacts the electrification of everything and the decarbonization of our society by helping utilities modernize their distribution grids through innovative smart grid solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3+ years of networking experience and security best practices for large corporate networks, and 3+ years of experience in technical support, application engineering, or customer-facing roles within the technology or energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA systems, utility applications, and grid automation technologies is a plus, along with demonstrated working knowledge of SQL databases and knowledge of Industry data acquisition protocols such as DNP, Modbus, IEEE 2030.5 and IEC61850.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task, and self-motivated with initiative, flexibility, and good judgement.
