Administrative Assistant

Core responsibilities:

• Support RIVET's fundraising and brand building efforts (65%): Manage the full cycle for successful meetings with the CEO, including logistics, moves management, research & preparation, and communication; manage ongoing supporter communications, event support, and mentorship sessions
• Support RIVET's finance and operations team (25%): Handle CRM updates and automations, gift processing, and internal tracking of receipts, invoices, contracts, and agreements
• Provide internal team support (5%): Track notes and deliverables from meetings, support scheduling, and manage data collection and reporting
• Handle special projects (10%): Work on varied internal and external-facing projects including event support and in-kind donation tracking

This role enables RIVET to scale its impact advancing youth-led social change by providing operational and fundraising support that keeps momentum growing for the world's first micro-funding platform for youth-led social change.

Required skills and experience:

• 2-3 years of administrative experience managing outreach and logistics for meetings, travel, or events, or demonstrated transferable experience from roles with similar complexity
• Systems-oriented with experience operating and implementing systems, specifically with CRM software tools (experience with monday.com mentioned)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in American English with ability to engage diverse audiences and manage relationships
• Superb attention to detail, flexibility in a startup environment, and ability to work independently while prioritizing multiple tasks

Compensation: USD $40,000-50,000 FTE for U.S.-based candidates (salary adjusted for non-U.S. candidates based on local market data). Location: Fully remote with flexible hours requiring only Mon-Fri 11a-2p ET overlap with core team.
