Accounts Payable Specialist

Core responsibilities:

• Review and approve new vendor and vendor change requests, run TIN matches on domestic vendors and OFAC results for international vendors
• Review invoice and reimbursement payment requests, process project exit requests, and coordinate payments according to timely exit payment schedule
• Schedule disbursements for Model C projects and initiate appropriate grant payment amounts based on fund availability
• Participate in AP process improvements, including attending meetings with outside developers and recommending improvements to the team

This role supports Social Good Fund's mission to create positive influences for individuals, communities, and the environment by ensuring efficient financial operations that enable the organization to sponsor projects that develop healthier and happier communities.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 or more years of accounts payable experience, with nonprofit accounts payable processing experience preferred
• Self-starting, team-playing, tech-savvy person with strong creative problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills with vendors and projects, ability to handle large volume of work efficiently and with grace
• Ability to work well with people from diverse backgrounds, including people with disabilities, vulnerable populations, and the international community
