About the Role

Accounts Payable and Receivable Associate manages all accounts payable and accounts receivable functions for Crushing Colonialism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end operations of the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment runs, and expense report management
  • Ensure all payments are processed accurately, in a timely manner, and in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with the bookkeeper to ensure transactions are properly documented and recorded in QuickBooks
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in U.S. non-profit accounting, finance, bookkeeping or a related field
  • Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online) and payment platforms (e.g., Wise, PayPal)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Non-profit experience required
