Mission

What you will drive

  • Manage all day-to-day accounting operations as the sole in-house accountant, including AP, AR, general ledger, and reconciliations.
  • Oversee grant financial management, including tracking, drawdown, forecasting, and reporting for a complex portfolio of foundation, federal, state, and private grants.
  • Lead audit preparation, develop internal controls, and drive process improvements to ensure financial integrity and compliance.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 7+ years of general accounting experience, including 3+ years in managerial-level financial reporting and 2+ years with grant-funded programs.
  • Highly proficient with Sage Intacct, Bill.com, QuickBooks, or similar platforms; strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting standards (ASC 958) and GAAP.
  • Experience with federal grant reporting (e.g., SF-425, FFR) and government platforms (EERE-PMC, VIPER, ASAP, FedConnect, PAGE).
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as the sole in-house accounting professional.
