Mission
What you will drive
- Advance local campus campaigns around academic freedom issues, share best practices, and provide guidance to AAUP chapter leaders.
- Increase AAUP members' capacity for academic freedom defense through workshops, trainings, and rapid response efforts.
- Build and support cross-institutional groups to advocate for academic freedom at campus, regional, state, and national levels.
- Support inclusion of academic freedom and job security protections in collective bargaining agreements and faculty handbooks.
