Mission
What you will drive
- Own the full lifecycle of federal grant awards from post-award compliance through closeout, including reporting, milestone certifications, and budget management.
- Serve as primary liaison between Phoenix Tailings and grant-issuing agencies (DOE, ARPA-E, etc.) for all contracting, negotiations, and award management.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with R&D, engineering, finance, and legal teams to ensure timely and accurate submission of deliverables and reports.
- Maintain a centralized record system for all active awards and identify compliance risks before they become problems.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 5+ years of experience in federal grant administration or post-award management, ideally in energy, defense, advanced manufacturing, or clean tech.
- Direct experience managing awards from DOE, ARPA-E, NSF, NIH, or similar agencies.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple active awards simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable corresponding with federal program officers.
