2nd Tankerman - Marine

• Deploy, tow, and anchor containment boom and other spill response equipment as necessary
• Ensure job-related equipment is always in good working order and ready for deployment or drill notifications
• Document and keep current all required vessel logs and inspections
• Provide clear direction to deckhands and passengers to ensure safety during potential navigational or event hazards

This role helps protect the environment by responding to oil spills and other marine incidents, supporting Republic Services' commitment to environmental responsibility and creating a more sustainable world.

• 4-7 years of relevant work experience
• Prior knowledge and experience in oil response
• Ability to travel and deploy to other vessels both domestically and internationally
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documentation, technical procedures, and regulations
