Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Assist with the collection and analysis of statistical data, known disease properties, medical assessments, laboratory findings, and other information to identify trends and methods of epidemic prevention or containment and develop technical reports of findings.
- Assist with monitoring outbreaks and identifying proposed methods of epidemic containment, and assist with monitoring and evaluating disease control programs in public health care facilities, day care institutions, nursing homes, other public facilities and recommend solutions for disease control problems.
- Assist with response to inquiries from health care professionals and members of the public regarding environmental or communicable disease hazards, and assist with studies and investigation of environmental exposures to determine their impact on human health, conduct health surveys, and issue health education advisories.
- Assist with the design, implementation, and evaluation of demographic, environmental, and epidemiologic studies relating to public health problems in order to identify risk factors, demographics/characteristics and possibly prevent recurrence of health problems.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required skills, experience, qualifications:
- Master's degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of methods of epidemiological design, data collection, data analysis and presentation of information, and knowledge of standard descriptive statistical methods.
- Considerable knowledge of biostatistics including the use of statistical software and statistical programming languages, and considerable knowledge of computers, database design, management and manipulation.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others, and ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
