Water Resources Engineer

• Plan, design, and manage systems related to water resources, contributing to the growth of the regional office in the Asheville, NC area.
• Develop restoration design solutions for stream and wetland projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and project managers to deliver projects within scope, budget, and timelines.
• Lead technical documentation, including engineering reports, drawings, specifications, and permit applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering fields, with a Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in water resources engineering, including at least 2 years in stream restoration design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM).
• Strong project management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of environmental regulations.
