Mission

What you will drive

  • Direct oversight of the programme including adherence to and maintenance of the approved Results Assessment Framework, project implementation plan, delivery and reporting timelines, and annual budgets
  • Manage and coordinate all project reporting requirements, including quarterly narrative and financial reporting
  • Coordinate with BBC Media Action implementation teams and identify synergies within WAN-IFRA's wider media support portfolio
  • Manage budgets, expenditure tracking, risk management, and ensure compliance with donor procedures and standards

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Experience leading EU/EC funded projects and managing external grants agreements
  • Knowledge of the current media landscape and specific challenges facing independent media
  • Experience working with BBC Media Action and familiarity with their project management and MEL processes (asset)
  • Strong project management skills with capacity to work collaboratively and with attention to detail
