Test and QA Technician

Core responsibilities:

• Analyze device performance in buildings and identify patterns in failures that could indicate firmware bugs or design shortcomings
• Visit Runwise buildings to install, reprogram, or remove devices, and assist on-site data gathering for analysis by the engineering team
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing test jigs and fixtures as needed
• Suggest and conduct experiments using Runwise's RF test chamber system to stress test device communications under various conditions

Required skills and experience:

• 5+ years of experience working with electronic equipment
• Experience shaping, building, or coordinating product development from idea to finished product
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals of various seniority across the company, as well as customers
• Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and effectively communicate with technical and non-technical partners
• Experience working with integrated hardware and software is a major plus

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary range: $75,000 - $90,000 based on experience level
