Mission

What you will drive

  • Act as a Staff Software Engineer for a novel type of aircraft development targeting the autonomous UAM market
  • Take part in the development of flight software per DO-178C and its supplements with the full life cycle processes and activities
  • Support peer Software Engineers, Systems Engineers, and other disciplines
  • Help coordinate and perform reviews of software life cycle data and plan/execute mentorship programs for junior Software Engineers

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Electronics, or relevant engineering discipline
  • 8+ years overall of avionics software development experience (or 6+ years with Master's degree)
  • Experience working on aerospace projects governed by DO-178C and its supplements
  • Hands-on experience with developing software requirements, design, code and integration
  • 2+ years experience with MathWorks Model-Based Development tools
  • Strong applied knowledge of complex electronics for safety critical systems and RTOS concepts
