Mission

What you will drive

  • Adapt training curricula on SRHR, family planning and contraception for health professionals and community health workers in Sierra Leone, ensuring gender and age-sensitive approaches aligned with national health standards.
  • Deliver training sessions for CAUSE Canada Sierra Leone health staff and mentor the Head Nurse to become a technical resource for the project and local health facilities.
  • Advise on strategies to overcome barriers to SRHR service utilization and medicine procurement, and support integration of SRHR education into community engagement activities.
  • Provide recommendations to improve SRHR interventions and ensure alignment with project goals, participating in project review meetings to assess progress.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Advanced degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field with specialization in SRHR.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in SRHR programming and health systems strengthening in a developing context.
  • Proven experience in curriculum development and training delivery.
  • Strong mentoring and coaching skills, with familiarity with Sierra Leone’s health system and cultural context as an asset.
