Mission
What you will drive
- Accounting Integration & Cost Controls: Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams to embed cost control mechanisms into project workflows. Monitor and analyze project costs, budgets, and variances to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. Develop reporting structures that link operational performance with financial outcomes.
- Process Mapping & SOP Development: Design and document SOPs for key business processes, focusing on cross-team interactions and integrations. Map end-to-end workflows between departments (Engineering, Deployment, Accounting, etc.) to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation. Standardize processes to ensure consistency and scalability across the organization.
- Tooling & Reporting: Assist designing and implementing financial system controls and data governance protocols within ERP and project management tools. Create dashboards and reporting tools that provide actionable insights into cost performance accuracy and operational efficiency. Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to tools and processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between Accounting, Project Engineering, and Operational teams to align financial and operational objectives. Facilitate training and adoption of new SOPs and cost control processes across teams.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience. Barriers to entry may require committee review.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, Sitetracker) and financial reporting tools; Tableau experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to design and implement SOPs and process maps.
- Skilled in analyzing large datasets to derive insights for operational and financial decision-making.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects to completion.
- Experience influencing stakeholders in a cross-functional environment.

For job positions in CA, CO, and NYC, the estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $175,000.00 USD to $195,000.00 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, discretionary target cash bonus, and restricted stock units (subject to Board Approval).
