Mission
What you will drive
- Deliver high-quality, real-time vehicle pose estimation solutions that power the next generation of mobile robots
- Research, develop, and deploy state of the art, safe and reliable (fail-operational) vehicle pose estimation algorithms
- Analyze and characterize the accuracy and performance of pose estimation algorithms on a variety of platforms
- Build well-tested C/C++ software and deploy and test on our robotic platforms and in simulation
- Collaborate with stakeholders across autonomy, hardware, and systems teams on sensor selection and architectures for next generation vehicles

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- PhD and/or Masters Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or related field
- Deep understanding of state estimation, probabilistic filtering, 3D geometry
- Experience developing pose estimation algorithms with sensors such as IMU, motor resolvers or encoders, GPS, etc., and sensor fusion
- Three years or more of industry experience as a software engineer
- Strong C/C++ programming skills, developing well-tested, safety critical software
- Hands-on experience developing sensor fusion or filtering algorithms for AV, drones, or similar applications
