Sr. Battery Engineer

Core responsibilities:

• Serve as a customer-facing battery expert, working cross-functionally to customize the Voltaiq product for customer needs
• Provide in-depth training, onboarding, and technical support to customers' battery teams through scheduled calls and on-site meetings
• Stay current with battery industry trends and ensure the Voltaiq product offering matches and exceeds those trends
• Generate conference content, thought-leadership materials, and present at industry events while owning technical projects for product commercialization

This role contributes to advancing battery technology through expert consultation and platform optimization, supporting the development of more efficient and sustainable energy storage solutions that can accelerate the transition to clean energy.

Required qualifications:

• PhD in STEM field with battery-specific research OR STEM B.S. with 3+ years of battery industry experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for customer-facing environments and diverse technical audiences
• Battery testing/engineering industry knowledge with superior troubleshooting capabilities
• Python coding experience and desire to work with software engineering teams
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
