Specialist Technician

• Provide expert technical support to the APAC Solar and Storage O&M department for solar and battery storage assets.
• Enhance delivery of operational services through remote and on-site technical support, training, and documentation.
• Develop, review, and update operational documentation such as Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Work Instructions, and Method Statements with a focus on electrical procedures and safety compliance.
• Assist in Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment (HSQE) incident investigations, contributing electrical insights to root cause analyses and recommending improvements to technical procedures.

This role contributes to creating a future where everyone has access to affordable, zero carbon energy by maintaining and optimizing renewable energy systems, directly supporting the transition to sustainable power sources.

• Diploma/degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent; valid Electrical License for the relevant state.
• Solar PV O&M experience (MW-scale or large commercial) and desirable experience in battery storage installation and O&M (MW-scale).
• Proficient in DC/LV installation, fault finding, testing, and commissioning; experience with central inverters, SCADA, data monitoring, and HV switchgear.
• Strong safety mindset, fluent in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills, and proficient in IT for report writing and documentation.
