Solution Specialist

Core responsibilities:

• Work closely with Tantalus sales team members to effectively communicate Tantalus' value proposition and solutions to customers.
• Engage with customers to understand technical requirements, lead technical engagements, present solutions, and coordinate proof-of-concept demonstrations.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to align solutions with customer needs and market trends.
• Contribute to the development of sales enablement materials, technical documentation, and best practices to streamline the sales process.

This role directly contributes to the electrification of everything and the decarbonization of our society by helping utilities modernize their distribution grids through innovative smart grid solutions.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering (or equivalent) with 5+ years' experience in a technical discipline within a distribution utility.
• Strong understanding of utility distribution challenges and value propositions related to SCADA, operational technology, IT, AMI/Smart Grid, metering and Distributed Energy Resources.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to tie a value proposition of a technology solution to utility outcomes.
• Ability to build trusting interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders, with good business acumen and problem-solving skills.
