Solar Construction Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of solar construction projects from start to finish, ensuring schedules, budgets, and requirements are followed
• Manage subcontractors for timely completion, quality, and adherence to plans, specifications, schedule, and budget
• Direct and supervise field personnel with daily schedules including people, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Read, interpret, and understand all project documentation including blueprints, schematics, maintenance manuals, and assembly instructions

This role contributes to the expansion of renewable energy infrastructure by managing the construction of commercial solar arrays, helping reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainable energy solutions.

Required skills and experience:

• 2+ years in a related position with experience in electrical underground conduit and terminations
• Experience working on 1MW+ solar projects and dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors, and/or self-perform work
• Proficiency with reading blueprints, plans, specs, contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders
• Knowledgeable of electrical codes (AC and DC), occupational hazards, and compliance with safety policies and OSHA/MSHA standards
