Social Performance - Managing Consultant - 12-month FTC

• Provide oversight and quality control for data collection, management, and analysis.
• Collaborate with other ERM national and global practitioners via working in teams composed of multi-disciplinary professionals from multiple offices around the global ERM organisation.
• Liaise with various stakeholders, including State government, Local government and community organisations.
• Mentor junior-level consulting staff to develop their skill sets including technical skills, project experience, and general consulting skills.
• Contribute to proposal development, including development of technical scopes and cost estimates.
• When required, direct and monitor project management activities related to projects, including task delegation and direction, subcontractor management, health & safety protocol management, monitoring of commercial performance, quality review of deliverables, and interaction with clients.

This role contributes to implementing ERM's global sustainability strategy and makes a significant impact through consulting on social performance matters in Australia and internationally, helping solve complex challenges in sectors like renewables and mining.

• A recognised degree in social science, or other related discipline. Professional registration would be an asset.
• 5 to 10+ years of demonstrable experience, with experience in the consulting industry preferred.
• Experience of working withing Queensland and/or NSW SIA Regulatory Framework.
• Experience working as part of an integrated national team to develop social impact assessments, human rights impact assessments, or other related scopes of work for projects in Australia and further afield.
• Project management skills such as development of work plans, budgets, schedules, and project controls.
• Excellent writing, communication, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.
• Relationship building skills with colleagues and clients.
