Senior Substation Engineer

• Design and review electrical substations, including layout, equipment selection, and specifications in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Review load flow, short circuit, and relay coordination studies to ensure reliability and efficiency of substation designs.
• Provide technical support during construction, testing, and commissioning of new substations, ensuring compliance with schedules and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of substations into the overall power grid.

This role supports the development of utility solar, high voltage substation, and energy storage markets across North America, contributing to the expansion of renewable energy infrastructure and grid reliability.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field; master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years in substation design, construction, or maintenance or equivalent design experience.
• Proficiency in engineering software tools such as ETAP, SKM, or PSS/E for power system analysis.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes, such as IEEE, ANSI, and NESC.
