Senior Software Engineer, Platform

• Take ownership of key systems within the Platform team, which manages foundational systems for fleet operations and customer deliverables
• Drive improvements to performance and reliability of customer-facing APIs, authentication systems, automated drone configuration, and fleet monitoring
• Contribute to critical architectural discussions and collaborate across teams to deliver high-impact features faster

This role supports unmanned surface vehicles that deliver continuous, real-time intelligence in the toughest oceans on Earth, giving partners faster awareness, stronger security, and a decisive edge at sea for border security, law enforcement, naval operations, and undersea infrastructure protection.

• 5 years of professional software development experience with BA/BS in related field or equivalent
• Strong expertise in Python and/or TypeScript with fluency in code design patterns
• Experience with Event Driven and Microservice architectures, REST APIs, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, SNS/SQS, Lambda)
• Mastery of relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL, with proven ability to lead complex projects
