Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Architect a network bonding framework to aggregate bandwidth across multiple cellular providers to ensure zero-drop connectivity
- Build sophisticated simulations to stress test the networking stack against edge cases like tunnel entries, rural dead zones, and network congestion
- Develop and implement custom congestion control algorithms specifically tuned for high-bitrate, low-latency video streaming
- Partner with Hardware and Embedded teams to optimize the network stack directly on the vehicle gateway

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of industry experience (or PhD with focus on Networking/Distributed Systems and 3+ years industry experience)
- Deep understanding of Linux networking stack, socket programming, and data movement from physical to application layer
- C++ expertise with ability to write performant, thread-safe code and understanding of real-time systems
- Protocol expertise beyond TCP/UDP, with understanding of how to implement FEC or ARQ for high-mobility environments
