Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d)

• Prioritizing reliability, automation, and long-term maintainability in all systems
• Writing production-quality Python or Go code deployed on Linux systems
• Designing and implementing complex software systems for automated decision-making in aerospace and IoT contexts
• Working with APIs, networking, and databases in operational environments
• Building and maintaining CI pipelines and automated testing frameworks
• Applying systems thinking to architecture, trade-offs, and problem breakdown
• Contributing to code reviews and maintaining clean Git workflows

Directly contributing to refine our ability to monitor and respond to wildfires, helping to safeguard communities, preserve wildlife, and protect ecosystems worldwide.

• Shown practical experience in real-time mission critical autonomous software systems such as aerospace, IoT, or autonomous driving
• Expertise in Software Architecture: Strong understanding and ability to design robust and scalable software solutions
• Practical experience building a scalable microservice architecture with an emphasis on reliability and availability
• Strong programming skills and willingness to deepen expertise (Python, Golang) and Git, Docker, Databases, Linux, Software Packaging
• University degree in Computer Science, STEM/MINT, or equivalent
• Strong problem solving capabilities
• Familiarity with general software engineering principles and agile software development
• Fluent in English
