Senior Software Engineer - Core Services

As a senior software engineer, you will:

• Work in a scrum team to build the next generation of world-class EV technology products in Core Services
• Build advanced access control, identity & role management, license management, Accounts, and other shared services serving as the backbone for various product teams
• Collaborate with different Product Owners and Product Managers across various teams to implement and integrate solutions aligned with and extend shared platforms
• Develop the product from minimum viability to world-scale maturity and ensure requirements are fully understood and implementation matches expectations

This role contributes to the transition to electric mobility by building the core services that power one of the world's leading EV charging networks, helping create an all-electric future and reducing transportation emissions.

Required skills and qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience building back-end software
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
• Strong CS fundamentals - data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
• Working experience with modern software architecture components (Distributed Systems, Containerization, Micro Services, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Java, SpringBoot, and related technologies
• Working experience in one of the cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
• Working experience with one of the popular databases
• Understanding of API-first approach and knowledge of monitoring and tracing tools
