Mission

What you will drive

  • Manage state energy regulatory matters and provide legal advice on state energy regulatory and legal issues including litigation, compliance, enforcement, and advisory matters
  • Manage state regulatory due diligence for target projects and identify regulatory and commercial risks
  • Stay abreast of all FERC proceedings and make recommendations regarding company involvement in proceedings that enable commercial adoption of innovative technology
  • Represent the company in regulatory proceedings and manage interventions, protests, and other adversary proceedings

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • JD with strong academic background, active and in good standing with at least one U.S. State bar
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in energy regulatory practice including experience as regulatory or project finance associate at a law firm (in-house experience preferred)
  • State utility commission experience required; familiarity with FERC desired
  • Extensive experience in electric power industry with renewable energy experience preferred
