Mission
What you will drive
- Manage state energy regulatory matters and provide legal advice on state energy regulatory and legal issues including litigation, compliance, enforcement, and advisory matters
- Manage state regulatory due diligence for target projects and identify regulatory and commercial risks
- Stay abreast of all FERC proceedings and make recommendations regarding company involvement in proceedings that enable commercial adoption of innovative technology
- Represent the company in regulatory proceedings and manage interventions, protests, and other adversary proceedings

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- JD with strong academic background, active and in good standing with at least one U.S. State bar
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in energy regulatory practice including experience as regulatory or project finance associate at a law firm (in-house experience preferred)
- State utility commission experience required; familiarity with FERC desired
- Extensive experience in electric power industry with renewable energy experience preferred
