Senior Product Designer

Core responsibilities:

• Lead the evolution of internal tools and Business Intelligence dashboards to help employees make faster, better decisions
• Conduct deep discovery, user research, and synthesis to understand workflow pain points and design improved solutions
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for information-dense applications
• Manage and contribute to the in-house Design System Library, collaborating with Engineering to build reusable components

This role creates positive change by designing internal systems that improve operational efficiency for waste and recycling services, directly supporting RoadRunner's mission to accelerate the road to Zero Waste™ through technology and innovation.

Required qualifications:

• 3-5+ years in Product Design with focus on internal-facing tools or data-heavy applications
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma for prototyping and design execution
• Bachelor's Degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience with end-to-end UX process from user research to UI execution
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment with strong stakeholder management skills

Compensation and benefits:

• Annual salary: $110,000 - $130,000
• 10% annual discretionary bonus
• RoadRunner pays 100% of medical, dental and vision premiums for employee, 70% for dependents
• Monday-Friday schedule (8:30am-5:30pm EST)
• Minimal travel required (<5%, annual trip to Pittsburgh headquarters)
