Mission

What you will drive

  • Prepare, submit, and coordinate agency approval of applications for discretionary permits and other entitlements critical to project viability and success
  • Schedule and lead public meetings with external stakeholders including public hearings, town halls, pre-application meetings, and board discussions
  • Manage a network of external consultants in the scoping of biological, cultural, and other resource surveys and the preparation of diligence documents necessary for environmental permitting and financing processes
  • Review zoning, floodplain, biological resources, wetlands, cultural resources, permitting fees, entitlement processes, community attributes and other site-specific considerations to support early-stage project development

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Four to eight (or more) years of work experience in environmental consulting, permitting, renewable energy, real estate, planning, policy, or other related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with proven ability to plan, prioritize, and execute in a timely and accurate manner
  • Bachelor's Degree with familiarity with land/environmental policy/law (particularly NEPA/CEQA) and Google Earth/GIS as a plus
