Senior Manager, People Operations

• Manage recruitment, hiring, onboarding, compliance, and performance management within the PEO platform (TriNet)
• Develop and scale consistent human-centered systems, processes, and policies to foster an equitable, efficient, and engaging employee experience
• Ensure organization-wide compliance with employment laws and regulations, and implement HR policies and procedures
• Support performance management and organizational culture initiatives, including training staff and updating performance modules

This role helps foster an equitable, efficient, and engaging employee experience at CDP, supporting the organization's mission to minimize disaster impact through thoughtful, equitable, and responsive recovery for all.

• 7-10 years of progressively responsible relevant experience in human resources or people operations
• Strong working knowledge of multi-state employment law, benefits administration, and HRIS/PEO platforms (TriNet or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience developing and/or implementing scalable HR processes and systems
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and/or coaching skills, with commitment to racial and intersectional equity

Salary range: $82,400 - $92,700. Flexible remote work with preference for the DMV area. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. Organization values integrity, boldness and innovation, humility, and empathy, with commitment to anti-racism and equitable practices. Team retreats scheduled 2-3 times per year in different U.S. regions.
