Senior Manager, Business Engagement

Core responsibilities:

• Own the full professional services sales cycle, from prospecting business owners through closing advisory engagements related to business transitions
• Conduct educational events targeted at business owners and advisors to generate employee ownership transition leads
• Act as a trusted advisor to business owners and brokers, helping demystify the employee ownership process and showcasing its potential benefits
• Partner with peers and leadership to refine sales and consultation processes and resources

This role creates positive change by helping businesses transition to employee ownership models, which grows community wealth and creates more equitable communities by enabling employees, especially those in low- to middle-wage jobs, to become co-owners of the businesses where they work.

Required skills and experience:

• Proven business services sales experience with small and lower middle market businesses
• At least 7+ years of experience in sales, business development, or similar roles
• Demonstrable background in corporate finance or business financial analysis
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related fields (MBA is a plus)
• Proficiency in CRM platforms and outreach tools
