Mission
What you will drive
- Lead the Baobab EcoDistrict Community-Driven Planning Process for 11 vacant lots on Chicago Southside
- Oversee all project phases from initiation through community engagement, visioning, plan development, adoption, and implementation
- Establish and manage a diverse Project Steering Committee and implement comprehensive community engagement strategies
- Develop and finalize a comprehensive plan outlining preferred land uses, implementation strategies, and funding sources

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- At least 6 years of experience as a project manager in community development, urban planning, or similar fields
- Proven expertise in community engagement, facilitation, and consensus building with diverse stakeholders
- Strong understanding of sustainable development principles and urban planning processes
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Community Development, Public Administration, Social Work, or related field (Master's preferred)
