Senior Engineer, Full Stack (Remote, US)

Core responsibilities:

• Contribute to the architectural design for complex software projects, covering both backend systems and frontend user interfaces
• Build and maintain features that bridge the gap between backend infrastructure and frontend user experience
• Rearchitect and optimize existing systems to support significant user growth
• Work on multiple aspects of the tech stack including TypeScript, React, Python, FastAPI, and SQL databases on cloud platforms

This role contributes to changing how we power the world by making it easier for customers to save energy and money at home as part of the largest residential virtual power plant in North America, ultimately leading to cleaner energy for everyone.

Required qualifications:

• 4+ years of industry experience building complex software
• Full-stack expertise with significant experience in both backend (Python) and frontend (TypeScript/React) development
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science or demonstrated software industry experience
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency with SQL databases
• Experience contributing to the design of complex software systems with understanding of architectural patterns

• Competitive salary: $165,000 - $205,000 base salary
