What you will drive

  • Design complex printed circuit boards (PCBs) and propose the overall electrical architecture for the next-gen delivery robot
  • Select key electrical components to ensure optimal system performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration
  • Prioritize electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility requirements while leading design requirements, specifications, and verification testing
  • Own the complete lifecycle of PCBA development from specification through manufacturing and investigate hardware failures to implement corrective actions

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • BS in Electrical Engineering (MS/PhD preferred) with 10+ years of experience in robotics, consumer electronics, or related fields
  • Expertise in high-speed analog/digital design, embedded systems, power electronics, motor controllers, and electrical CAD tools (Altium preferred)
  • Proficient with Linux command line, oscilloscopes, DMMs, spectrum analyzers, and communication protocols (CAN, RS-485, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet)
  • Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and experience with power electronics including DC-DC converters and battery management systems
