Senior Ecologist - T&E Species

Core responsibilities:

• Lead and manage environmental projects from planning through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met
• Mentor Natural Resource scientists, technicians, project managers, and field personnel while coordinating field operations
• Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations, including permitting requirements
• Maintain client relationships, support business development efforts, and prepare proposals for new opportunities

This role contributes to environmental protection by ensuring compliance with regulations for threatened and endangered species, managing ecological projects responsibly, and mentoring the next generation of environmental scientists.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, Natural Resource Management, or related field
• 15+ years of experience in project management, fieldwork, or related environmental work
• Strong understanding of terrestrial species, threatened & endangered species regulations, and agency coordination
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects

This position offers flexible work arrangements (fully remote, hybrid, or office-based in Stow, Ohio or regional offices). Standard office equipment is provided for both office and home work.
