Senior Community Engagement Specialist

Core responsibilities include:

• Leading creation and implementation of Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Plans/strategies and executing related outreach.
• Identifying and mapping key stakeholders for client projects, conducting in-depth research including stakeholder analysis and jurisdictional review.
• Developing themes, core messages and collateral for multiple audiences in both English and Spanish, including local communities, statutory bodies, and elected representatives.
• Planning logistics, execution and facilitation of stakeholder or public meetings, workshops, open houses, focus groups, and other community outreach events.

This role creates positive change by facilitating community engagement and stakeholder communication for large infrastructure projects, ensuring communities are informed and involved in development processes that affect them.

Required qualifications include:

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish for developing communications materials and engaging stakeholders.
• Experience leading stakeholder engagement and communications tasks for large, complex infrastructure projects.
• Ability to make tactical decisions and prioritize engagement activities based on project and client requirements.
• Experience managing project teams, coaching staff members, and developing relationships with key project contacts.
