Mission

What you will drive

  • Serve as subject-matter expert for refugee resettlement
  • Organize and participate in convenings alongside state refugee coordinators
  • Synthesize findings from convenings
  • Manage stakeholder communication and engagement with national resettlement agencies, related to national refugee focused coalitions, and other non-governmental actors
  • Conduct field and desk research related to state-centered USRAP
  • Represent WIN at meetings, convenings, and other public events

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience in the refugee resettlement ecosystem
  • Demonstrated experience managing a range of refugee resettlement-focused programming
  • Strong understanding of the USRAP and ability to understand how changing laws and policies impact arriving populations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: proven ability to effectively communicate complex issues in a clear manner to multiple audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills: must be able to work collaboratively, manage professional relationships, seek out diverse perspectives, provide and receive feedback constructively, be solution-oriented, and meet and communicate deadlines effectively
  • Bachelor's degree required
