Robotics Engineer

• Prototype robotics demonstrations that showcase AI safety and hardware capabilities
• Build and ship AI risk demos using simulation and real robotic devices
• Make key architecture decisions and establish best practices for the demo stack
• Collaborate with AI researchers, engineers, technical journalists, and policymakers

This role creates positive change by raising awareness about AI risks through tangible robotics demonstrations that showcase safety considerations and hardware capabilities.

• Experience with robotics prototyping and demonstration development
• Ability to work with both simulation and real robotic devices
• Strong technical architecture and decision-making skills
• Collaborative skills to work with diverse stakeholders including researchers, engineers, journalists, and policymakers

Remote work environment with daily syncs and weekly lab demonstrations.
