Risk & Compliance Associate

• Provide day-to-day compliance oversight for UK businesses and support coordination with EU affiliates
• Advise on regulatory issues, oversee onboarding, monitor conduct and conflicts, and ensure compliance with UK/EU regulatory requirements
• Serve as first point of contact for deal teams on MiFID II, MAR, COBS and conduct queries
• Review engagement letters, approve mandates, oversee KYC/AML, and provide regulatory input on deal structuring

This role ensures regulatory compliance and risk management for financial transactions, supporting the integrity and stability of financial markets through proper oversight of deal activity and cross-border operations.

• 2–4 years' experience in Compliance, Risk or Regulatory Advisory in financial services, legal (FS regulation) or consultancy (FS compliance)
• Experience with onboarding, engagement letters, approvals and transaction support
• Knowledge of MiFID II, MAR, FCA rules, GDPR and AML/KYC
• Solid understanding of financial instruments and strong knowledge of securitization structures (ABS, MBS, CLOs, credit-linked transactions)
