Revenue Accounting Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Review new contracts and product offerings/promotions for correct ASC606 or ASC842 treatment
• Manage the end-to-end accounting close process for revenue-related transactions, including managing a team of 1-2 senior accountants
• Implement and maintain internal controls to enhance accuracy and safeguard financial integrity
• Participate in system improvements and process enhancements to streamline accounting operations

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA certification
• 6+ years relevant professional experience, preferably in public accounting and/or with a publicly-traded company
• Strong understanding of US GAAP principles and SOX internal control requirements
• Ability to use software programs and tools to analyze large data sets efficiently

Preferred experience:

• Experience reviewing new contracts for accurate revenue recognition
• SQL knowledge
