Request for Proposals, Religious Projects Tackling the Challenges Posed by the AGI Race

Core responsibilities for this grant program:

• Identify and fund religious projects that address challenges posed by the AGI race
• Support fast-moving initiatives with visible results within one year
• Help establish moral principles as "red lines" that must not be crossed in AGI development
• Fund projects conducting academic research, policy efforts, public awareness campaigns, or resource creation

This grant program creates positive change by funding religious projects that establish ethical boundaries and moral principles to guide AGI development, helping ensure advanced AI systems align with human values and prevent potential harms.

Required qualifications for grant applicants:

• Experience with religious projects or initiatives
• Ability to deliver visible results within one year
• Background in academic research, policy work, public awareness campaigns, or resource development
• Capacity to organize workshops, debates, forums or convenings at various levels

Grants available with up to $1.5 million in total funding for selected projects. This is a funding opportunity rather than employment, so traditional employment benefits are not applicable.
