Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, implement, and monitor UNFPA activities in the covered region, focusing on maternal health, family planning, and reproductive health for youth and adolescents
  • Strengthen collaboration with government structures and partners to combat maternal and neonatal deaths, and ensure humanitarian preparedness and response
  • Supervise, mentor, and coach team members in the decentralized office to build their capacities and implement UNFPA's performance management system
  • Ensure timely reporting, data collection for program indicators, and operational research to document lessons learned and best practices

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Master's Degree with 5 years of experience in planning, coordination, and monitoring/evaluation
  • Experience in sexual and reproductive health (SR), family planning (PF), maternal health (SM), and gender-based violence (VBG)
  • Fluency in French (required) and English (desired)
  • Ivorian nationality, with ability to work in Bouake, Cote d'Ivoire
