Regional Development Director

• Lead a $3M–$6M fundraising portfolio across 5–7 states, developing and executing strategies to build and maintain relationships with current and prospective funders.
• Partner with Executive Directors to expand fundraising pipelines through relationship mapping, prospect research, and strategic participation in funder meetings.
• Project manage key development initiatives including grant proposals, donor stewardship plans, grant reporting cycles, and fundraising event logistics.
• Develop and execute individual giving programs, including prospect research, messaging development, and preparing Executive Directors for individual fundraising meetings.

This role contributes to raising over $20M annually to support impact for students across the country, empowering teachers to advance equity, opportunity, and student success through leadership in policy and practice.

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant nonprofit experience, including 3–5 years cultivating and prospecting funders.
• Proven ability to develop and implement fundraising strategies that increase revenue and strengthen donor relationships.
• Skilled at launching and growing individual giving programs and building pipelines in emerging regions.
• Proficient in fundraising tools and data analysis (e.g., Salesforce, Asana) to track engagement and inform decisions.
