Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Drive PUR's offering in emission reduction MRV from regenerative agriculture practices, including developing approaches for baseline assessment, monitoring and evaluation processes, land use change assessment, and working with 3rd parties on soil organic carbon.
- Responsible for all aspects related to carbon in PUR's regenerative agriculture projects, including designing field level data collection sheets, mapping farm archetypes, coordinating data collection, calculating carbon emissions, developing sampling designs, and creating monitoring plans.
- Conduct research and innovation activities including assessment of carbon quantification tools, building a library of carbon reduction potential, developing tools and protocols, and training teams on carbon emissions and data collection.
- Develop project budgets and proposals in collaboration with Commercial teams and ensure alignment with key frameworks such as GHG Land Sector and Removals Guidance, SustainCert and Verra/Gold Standard.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Master's or equivalent degree in environmental/resource management, agriculture development, or similar discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in carbon topics related to agriculture, with experience in insetting/offsetting project development and/or consulting.
- Proven experience in carbon reduction project design, quantification and monitoring in agriculture sectors, and working with GHG LSRG, SustainCert and other relevant carbon accounting tools.
- Strong project management experience across different geographies and time zones at an international level, with ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
- Fluent in English (Spanish and French considered assets), with strong communication skills, critical thinking, and sense of accountability.
